Sean Hashmi, MD, is the adult weight management lead for Southern California Kaiser Permanente. He is a board certified Internist, Nephrologist and Obesity Medicine Specialist practicing at Kaiser Permanente, Woodland Hills, California.  Dr. Hashmi graduated from the University of California, San Diego Medical School. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at UCLA-Olive View Medical Center followed by a fellowship in Nephrology at University of California, Los Angeles.

Dr. Hashmi has earned several teaching awards, and routinely mentors the Woodland Hills Family Medicine Residency Program. Additionally, he is an author of several academic presentations focusing on nutrition, obesity and kidney disease.
