Dr. April Dawn Lucero is a lifestyle medicine physician, an assistant professor, a chef, a health advocate and a medical missionary. She finished her Bachelor of Science in Nursing as Cum Laude from the Central Philippine Adventist College in 2008 and Doctor of Medicine from Southwestern University in 2013 as an Academic Scholar and with honors.
She is a Diplomate of the International Board of Lifestyle Medicine ranking second in the IBLM Board Exam in 2019. She received her certification as a Professional Plant-based Chef at Rouxbe Online Culinary School based in Vancouver, Canada.
At present, she is an Assistant Professor at Southwestern University-PHINMA - College of Medicine, she is a faculty of the Philippine College of Lifestyle Medicine, Competency Course; the Young Leader Director of PCLM; Chair of PCLM’s Events Committee; and the Founder, Physician, & Plant-Based Chef at Plated Prescriptions Online Wellness Clinic.
Most of all, she is committed to a life of service to God and her fellow men, especially through medical ministry. Without much further ado, let us give our undivided attention to Dr. April Dawn Lucero for The Nutrition Collaborative Team Practice on Cardiovascular Disease.
